About Ki-A

Hi, I'm Ekki. Welcome to the project.
I'm a Softwaree Engineer in QA with a simple belief: core QA skills should be accessible to everyone, for free.
I created Ki-Aas a personal, non-commercial project because I saw too many people paying for courses that only taught the basics. My goal is to share my real-world experience and provide high-quality, practical resources from automation techniques to strategic thinking at no cost.
This platform is my way of giving back to the community. It's managed and written entirely by me, and it's built on a philosophy of transparency and practical learning.
What's in the name "Ki-A"?
The name "Ki-A" is a personal pun, and it's the heart of this project.
My name is Ekki, but my friends and colleagues often call me "Ki".
My professional passion is Quality Assurance, or "QA" (pronounced kyu-ay).
Put them together, and you get Ki-A.
It's a name that fuses my identity (Ki) with my work (QA), and it represents my personal commitment to the content and tools you'll find here.
The Sentinel Mindset

Our brand is built on "Awareness over Perfection." This means we prioritize practical understanding and continuous learning over the unachievable goal of perfection. We focus on building effective processes and robust systems that are resilient to human error.
Our mascot, the Sentinel Meerkat, was chosen for this reason. Meerkats are not "perfect" they are aware. They are vigilant, collaborative, and work as a team to protect the system. That is the mindset we practice here.
An Open, Non-Commercial Project
Ki-A is, and always will be, a non-commercial project. It's managed and written entirely by me.
My goal is to share knowledge and provide resources to the community, not to build a for-profit business. All the content and tools on this site are free for everyone.
If you find the articles, guides, or the (upcoming) Ki-A Casebook valuable, please consider supporting the project. All donations help cover server costs and allow me to dedicate more time to creating new, high-quality content. You can find the support link in the footer.
